find a church

Looking for a church home?  Look no further: WELS Church Locator

There are many different reasons to go: to get inspired, better understand your faith, see your friends, or because your parents make you.  I go to learn more about my faith and as an added bonus I get to see my friends and I usually leave feeling inspired.  If the reason is because your parents make you I understand.  However, once you go off to college or move out it becomes incredibly easy to stop going because you won’t have anyone there to encourage you.  That’s where you can get into trouble.  The less time you spend in God’s Word the easier it becomes to fall into sin.  The best piece of advice I can give you is to find a reason to go – any other reason – and build on it.  Take the reasons listed here and see if they apply to your situation.  The most important thing is to go and stay in God’s Word.

If you love going to church good for you!  Now invite one of your friends who may not have the same disposition as you and go to church together.  Make that person feel welcome and answer any questions if you can.

If you don’t currently have a church home ask a friend where they go.  Or use our church locater above.  It’s okay to try one out before you join.  Find one that fits your style of worship and where you feel the most comfortable.
